Here
I am, a proud owner of two, count them, 1-2
"I Lost Ten Pounds" ribbons, courtesy of my support group.
I am pictured at an undisclosed location, happier than can be after learning
that after 29 days of eating only, ONLY, McDonalds food, I lost 22.0 pounds.
That's right I lost another 5.4 pounds this week. Even after that Double
Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Super Sized Fries, Super Sized Diet Coke,
and a Hot Fudge Sundae with Nuts, for lunch on the 27th.

I had to celebrate again, this time with a Big Mac and a large fry and
large Diet Coke.
Oh and did I leave those two ribbons in the picture? Oh well. Did I mention
they were for
losing ten pounds apiece?
This
is a note from a doctor I was seeing last year. I asked for it to prove
that I did not just add on 20 pounds right before doing this and then
try to lose it. I have been over 300 pounds for the last few years. My
weight on March 21, 2003 was 341 pounds, that was my highest recorded
weight. I lost around thirty pounds over the last year by eating better,
making good choices, and walking occasionally. I had problems with my
legs and other issues that made it very difficult to walk for some time,
but I kept with it. I am amazed I have achieved thus far. So with 22 pounds
in 29 days the thought occurred to me that I could lose 3 pounds in the
next 2 days by walking 16 miles each day, thus creating a tie with Morgan
Spurlock. Morgan gained 25 pounds in 30 days of over eating without exercise.
Again I do not recommend the methods of dieting being employed on this
web site. The walking is to raise money and the diet to make a point.
I decided he is small fries at this point. I will move on to next month
and put it all behind me. I will get to my goal of 50 pounds lost in 90
days by eating only McDonalds. There are no drugs involved, no secret
bathroom trips (not meant to be funny), nothing special except a will
to succeed and enough motivation to keep walking for breast cancer research,
which I still need support with.
