I
received my brothers wedding invitation.
As
you can see, I requested the Big Mac Super Sized!
My wife and son will have the salmon and pasta while I eat McDonalds.
I am the best man at his wedding and this may be an unusual request anywhere
else but I know my brother will support me no matter what.
My brother, sister and I all share at least one characteristic. We are
strongest at our weakest. We were raised in a less than stellar atmosphere,
in a somewhat lower to middle class neighborhood. We have had our share
of powdered milk, and we have never looked back. Underdogs is an understatement.
I am very proud of my brother and sister. They have both achieved so much,
while I may be the oldest, they teach me the most.
I guess I could look at this as a competitive thing with my brother. I
could never out perform him but that doesn't mean I won't keep trying.
My brother may have two Ivy League Championship rings from football and
a PhD, but I have a whole bunch of rings around my waist from too much
food and not enough exercise and paid to be in the Who's Who of Executives
and Professionals 2002-2003. Oh yeah! Can you feel the tension? He is
probably planning his next move right this moment to kick it up a notch.
I need to find out if McDonalds offers a ring to people they consider
outstanding examples. Top that Bro!
Well in all seriousness, I am extremely proud of them. And even though
some may consider MyMcDiet a foolish endeavor, I know I can count on them
to stand behind me regardless of their position on the matter. I think
back and I have always taken my position on matters concerning them, maybe
because I thought I was the big brother. They teach me a lesson again.
%@#$!
We split up and went separate ways back in 1988. Our sister stayed in
Chicago, my brother went east to school and I headed west. The first thing
I remember making my way west was the largest McDonalds in the country
at the time, which was in Oklahoma I believe.
I ate a bacon, egg, cheese bagel, and an orange juice for breakfast.
Lunch I had a double cheeseburger, chicken, and diet coke.
Walked 8 miles.
Dinner had a salad with grilled chicken.
