Sunday,
August 8th, I met with Gary Hostallero the world renowned Asian Artisan.
I usually see Gary much more than I have the last few months. He has been
extremely busy with his work and I with my new project. Gary and I share
a fascination with the samurai and bushido (the way of the warrior).
Here
Gary tells me about the "'Black Horse Shogun" and how he united
about a third of his country before his death. It is a real pleasure to
listen to Gary talk about these great warriors, he posses a great deal
of knowledge about them. The paintings are very intricate and are done
in a mixed media format.

Gary gives me the thumbs up.

There are videos of Gary and his stories on each painting on his site.
I walked to McDonalds this morning and had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit.
Lunch with Gary was a Quarter Pounder
I went for a walk late night and it was a beautiful night.
I am trying to avoid certain houses on my route because dogs bark late
at night. I will also try to avoid others as well if you let me know I
have disturbed you. I don't intend on being a problem, I'm just innocently
walking down the street and life happens. So if I scare you and you want
me to walk elsewhere, I will.
A lady on my walk tonight explained that I scared her because I was talking
to myself. It was really my phone and ear piece that I was talking to.
And other miscellaneous things like that. I explained to her and I apologize
and don't do any of these things intentionally.
