Good to Go!

Had a visit with a great Doctor, Dr. Pershad, and he thought it was great that I was exercising. My blood pressure was OK and my EKG was alright as well.

A big change from last year when I had a stress test and did not last long on the treadmill. He said things were looking ok for me for now and that I could wait until next year for another stress test. The reason
for the concern is that my father had several heart attacks at age 45. I am 40. He also had a quadruple bypass and a heart to lung bypass. I think he lived another 5 years or so, not more than 10 more.

I am much bigger than he was and much heavier. I also have diabetes on my mothers side of the family which is another reason I need to exercise and lose weight. The doctor pointed out to me the importance of what I am accomplishing since I have family history as such.
I never really put much thought into that.

If you are ever in need of a great Cardiologist keep my friends in mind at:

After the check up I went straight to McDonalds.

I had bacon and eggs for breakfast with OJ

For lunch I had a double cheeseburger with apple dippers and a coke.

Dinner was a bacon ranch salad, double cheese burger and a coke and fries.

I gave the hot wheels car to a youngster at the McDonalds. His mother motioned that it was ok as I approached showing the toy, and he just stared at it. I walked away and just as I was getting a refill he yelled out across the restaurant "Thank You Sir". I yelled back, "Your Welcome", everyone smiled.
