What a wonderful sight! First thing I see in the morning is smiling Ed in his MyMcDiet shirt.

Ed and I were talking politics today and he knew that I was running for Congress. I decided to enlist myself as an Independent which allows me to vote on the democratic ticket. So I did just that and we did a write in campaign on their ticket. this means that I will be running against the most Honorable Rep. John Shadegg, R-Ariz. who by the way is doing an excellent job. I didn't expect to win but if I get close enough my agenda my effect his future decisions.

The primary was the other day when i told you that I voted. And the results are in and it seems that Rep. John Shadegg has a slight edge on me, and as expected I would lose by a few votes.

So accepting defeat, I went to Rep. John Shadegg's office to offer him some McDonalds as a congratulatory dinner. He was not in. Well that's one more happy meal for me John. you missed out on the double cheeseburger and apple dippers. I would, of course, keep the offer open to you so just let my office know when.

We will be attending another Jazz night with Bobby tomorrow night.

So the bad news is that I gained one pound for the week. I will talk more about this later. It shows that I have slowed down on walking and will have to increase it. And I will. Lets see what will happen next week before judging.
