It was an early start. I was already late picking Susan up because I was walking until midnight last night. had to pick Susan up at 5:15 to make it to Kiwanis Park in Tempe AZ for the 18 mile training walk.

There were hundreds of people at this training exercise. We needed to get registered.

Off we went down Mill Avenue and back around. The line of people had to stretch a mile. I am actually in line on the opposite side going north while these folks are headed back to the park for the first of three breaks.

Out first break and I find that the men's room has been taken over by the gals. What am I to do? I'm doing the dance and getting a few laughs, so they agreed to hold up and let me in. you guys don't know what your missing. Hanging out with a couple hundred women is great fun.

Here I made the first stop on the second leg of the walk, at a McDonalds on Guadalupe, for an Orange Juice and burrito, to go....

On the next stop I refilled with a purchase of Power Aide. Now I am ready!

Here I got Susan to laugh and we only have a mile and a half to go. I stopped off for a double cheeseburger happy meal, like the one I brought to Arnold Schwarzenegger a few days ago and a Super Sized Chocolate Milk Shake, and a cookie!

We had a blast walking the 18 miles and YES Susan walked the whole 18 miles Brad.
We stopped along the way to call Ed, he was hot roddin' in the garage at the time. Need to get you out here again. We met up with the girls that walked with us on the first training day and many others stopped us to say hello.

When I said to you before that if you begin to walk it is much more fun if you pick a cause, this is why. Everyone was so much fun. Everyone is out there to make a difference and you can feel it. It makes you want to do what you are doing even more. Keep that in mind and give it a try. I guess most men are embarrassed to hang out with hundreds of women but I had a blast. So will you.

Join us for the Race for the Cure on October 10th and find out.
