What an opportunity. He was so nice to have posed with me, until he stopped and read my T-Shirt. Then I think I saw that smile turn into a frown. I have to drop out of character for a moment here and say, I scared this poor guy. I gave him my card and assured him that I was not out to get McDonalds. It is a shame McDonalds has to feel that way but can you blame them.

My wife and I pose together before meeting up with the group.

Found them! That is Sally's Grandmother in the chair and I have to say that she is inspiring. She walked most of the way. To the left of me is Jennifer, susan and Sally's other sister and Marian is on the right.

Samantha and I are ready for this walk. She is truly an incredible young girl. Look at that smile. Some day, I hope she realizes the strength she posses, I think she could achieve so much in her life if she choses to do so.

Marian walks with her daughters picture on her back.

We are off! And in 15 minuites we will get to the starting line. There are so many people here. This is an amazing turnout. i am so glad to be part of it with all of you. And I even seen some of my friends and other walkers from my neighborhood, like Lulu who yelled out "Go Kevin Go!" I see her walking all of the time and I am sure she has a story that has motivated her. I wish her the best. When I see her walking I am inspired by her to get home and walk some more.

Making my way to the start.

Susan and I

I just have to give the capitol of Arizona a thumbs up. I appreciate the help that office of the Governor of Arizona has given me. Governor Janet Napolitano gets two thumbs up.

Not like I was worried about finishing but it was an incredible experience to be part of. Very emotional for some people as well.

On the way home I stopped at Toys R Us. They had a McDonalds section of toys. Way cool!

I had to stop and have a bite to eat before going to the party. nothing like watching people eat lost of food while being hungry.

Samantha serves her brother his first birthday cake. Look at that smile.

Ummm, now that is good!

Me and Ed get a chance to catch up.

Ed brought his grandson, Justin, along who coincidently celebrated hsi first birthday just yesterday. Happy Birthday to both of you!

A side by side comparison of the two birthday boys.

Happy Birthday Sean.

May God Bless you
Sally
